I keep meaning to post this but there are just a few days left to see this show! I participated again in a group show organized by Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens. It's always a fun challenge. This time it's called Dime Bag and each piece is enclosed in a mini ziplock bag. It's at Giant Robot here in NYC and all pieces are available to purchase online.

Well the new Lines and Shapes is out and I'm happy to announce I am contributor this time. The theme is Thread, which is right up my alley as you can imagine. If you aren't familiar with the book series, you can read about it here. It's quite inspiring to see how different artists approach the same theme. Thanks to Lena and Mav for asking me to participate!
Yesterday I installed two picture shelves above our new sofa! I am excited to be able to change the display whenever. It also gives me motivation to make some new pieces so that I can fill some antique frames I have been saving. The only "catch" (sorry for the bad pun!) is that the particular fabric we chose, is VERY easily snagged by our cat. Because she loves new things, she sees this sofa as her personal playgound! We ordered the linen slipcover but it's not supposed to be delivered until well into May. So even though we use softpaws she is still able to snag the weave with her back paws and even her front. What a pain! Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have gotten several requests wanting to know how to purchase the artwork for my upcoming show at Tinlark Gallery in LA. The opening is Saturday July 14. I think from 4-7. But if you won't be in LA the ladies there said it's fine to order from them. They will even presell items before the opening. Because I'm still working on everything it's still a work in progress and I haven't finalized prices and finishing touches. Thanks so much for the interest I've gotten about the work. It's very encouraging.

i've been working on these bottle paintings also for the Modern Fable show. They are done with Japan paint, a paint used for lettering on windows and signs.
here are felt trivets which will be for the Modern Fable show coming up in LA this July. see prev. posts for links. they are cut out of 2 layers of wool felt and will be arranged as a wall installation. thanks for all the nice comments and emails i've been getting!
