I have been wanting to make a sun hat for Leo for some time now. He is so fair he pretty much needs this any time we go outside. I found a great hat pattern in the Little Things to Sew by Oliver + S. The first one I made was too big but the second one (extra small) fits great and now I have one for when Leo gets older. I added ties to the small one but it isn't even really necessary if it fits pretty snug. Overall pretty easy and so cute!
that second photo of Leo (resting on Daddy's head?) is adorable. Such a cutey! I'm going to buy this book too, I'm surprised I haven't yet.

I am super impressed with this book, especially the hat pattern. I made one for my littlest boy the other day, and I'm just about to start cutting one for the bigger one!

What a cute hat(and boy)! My girls need huts too whenever they go out and I thought about making them huts but never got around to actually do so.

That hat is adorable. I want the book of patterns. My little 3 month old grandson is so fair and bald that he needs a hat on all the time. I would love to make him a couple.

Beautiful baby. I want the publication of styles. My little 30 days old son is so reasonable and balding that he needs a hat on all time. I would really like to create him a several.
