Even though we moved to our new house back in November, we just lately moved Leo into his own room. We had all been sharing the "rec room" basement. Now Leo is getting the best spot in the place, with my coveted window looking out at the birdfeeder and yard. It's been nice to contain all his toys and stuff and let him freely play in there. He does try to escape though every chance he gets now that he is a pro at crawling! I had a lot of fun putting his room together.
The whale wall decal and the Leo print are from Little Lion Studio on Etsy.
I made a curtain out of thick denim which blocks the light for daytime naps.
What a beautiful room! He's sure to enjoy spending time there for years to come!

So lovely! Any little boy (or girl!) would be very lucky to grow up there. Hooray for Leo and his new bedroom!

Your son's room looks so great! I love the color scheme--so bright and manly yet soothing in the same.

Really lovely room. I hadn't thought of using denim for a light-blocking curtain--might have to give that a try!

Not sure if you answer comments, but where did you find that shelving unit? It's perfect. LOVE the room.

Very cute nursery for your little boy. I really like the whale decal on the wall and it looks like he does have fun crawling around on his rug. It is so nice for a baby to have their own space. Love the easter eggs. Just saw a cute idea using empty shells in egg cups. They decorated them as bride and grooms. I was thinking of putting a few herbs sticking out of the top and writing my garden party brunch guest's name on them.

Beautiful post shared by you. I really like the plate of whale on the wall and it looks like he likes to crawl on his carpet.

Hi from Spain! we are waiting our lovely girl by June this year and we really love Leo's room. Can you tell me if his crib is from Ikea (Gulliver model)? are you happy with it?I know the white furniture is from ikea, but we are in a mess looking for cribs and we don't like the ones we are looking for.
Thank you,
I really love your blog!
