I've been torn about whether to put wedding stuff here on the blog because I want it to be a surprise for everyone that day. I think I'll just give a few peeks hear and there. Yesterday I spent working on the invites. I'm using Gwen Frostic cards. The date is May 18, only 2 months away!
Congratulation on getting married! My boyfriend and I still can't agree about how to get married (big/small, party/diner, etc). Maybe some day.....
That peek on your weddingpapetry looks lovely!

I was so pleasantly suprised to see that you are using gwen frostic cards. I grew up down the road from gwen frostic's and we used to make the trip there a few times a year to watch the presses go and buy wrapping paper and note cards. I remember seeing her there when I was a little girl. Her prints are amazing. If you're ever in Western Michigan, it's worth visiting the printing press.

Will your wedding be covered in an issue of MS Weddings? If so, which issue?

I grew up in Cincinnati but we vacationed in Beulah, Michigan where Gwen Frostic's studio is. After she died, I worked with the woman who took over the shop to try to get more exposure for her stationary. (Calenders are a must-have every year at all my family's houses!!!). I'm so happy to see you appreciate the simple beauty of her prints! I wrote to Martha about her but never heard anything back. I know they did an article a few years ago. We even sent a gift basket full of things to her! Anyways, I love your blog!!! And I love your art... you have a gentleness about you that is wonderful!
