Shop update Monday!

So obviously I didn't get it together this week for a shop update. This time I really promise that Monday there will be MANY new dolls, doll clothes, elephants, giraffes, felt coats and maybe a few other things added to the shop on Monday. Thanks so much for your patience. I always just underestimate how long everything will take.

Important Note: The Flea Design Coop is canceled this weekend due to rain. I will be selling again on October 24 and 31 so check out the flea on those days. Thanks to everyone who came to it last weekend. Please tell all your friends too, we'd love to have a great turnout next week.

Flea Design Coop

I am happy to announce I will participating in the Flea Design Coop starting this Saturday, October 10th! Please come by and check it out. There are so many great designers and crafters participating, it should be a great sale. It will be a special tent inside the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

Dime bag

Hi,
I keep meaning to post this but there are just a few days left to see this show! I participated again in a group show organized by Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens. It's always a fun challenge. This time it's called Dime Bag and each piece is enclosed in a mini ziplock bag. It's at Giant Robot here in NYC and all pieces are available to purchase online.

Here is my piece and MANY others. Check it out by Aug 12th!

Shop update!

I have updated my shop with a few new dolls, felt coats and many hairclips. I'm trying as fast as I can to get more dolls in the shop, so stay tuned. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who came by this weekend and said hi at Renegade. The weather was great and it was a lot of fun. This year I shared my booth with my friend Kylie Fife, check out her blog Jones Fife. She's been making great bracelets and earrings. I will be updating my Etsy shop this week with hairclips, one necklace, bracelets and a few framed granny square pieces. More info to come about the exact time of the update. I really appreciate the people who stop by and tell me how they like the blog, thanks!

Making the hairclips.

I'm happy to announce that I am doing Renegade fair this year in Brooklyn on June 6-7. Hopefully it won't be scorching hot like previous years. Let's all cross our fingers for breezy nice weather and no rain. At this sale, small affordable items do well, so I am making a whole bunch of the fabric flower hairclips. You might remember these because they sold for a brief time at Anthropologie. The fabric colors are a little brighter than I normally go for but they work as mini flowers that give a small pop of color.

It's fun to make them when you don't have make THOUSANDS of them!
