I'm happy to be back after a very nice and relaxing time off. While in Michigan for the holidays we stopped at one of my favorite places, the Polish Art Center in Hamtramck. I got these stars and garlands for our tree for next year. I love how graphic they all look together. I've got lots of new projects in mind for 2010 so hopefully you'll check back here often in the new year!

I love those ornaments. I think Ikea had some ornaments similar to the garland. It always amazes me how such simple materials can be transformed into such beautiful pieces!

These are very cool. The bottom garland looks similar to ornaments my Scandanvian relatives would send to us from Norway & Denmark when I was a child.
