I went to the MARTHA show yesterday on the subject of blogging. Martha's blog is here, it's a candid look at her world. The show was informative and they had all sorts of bloggers on. A Year of Mornings 3191 Miles Apart was featured and Stephanie and Mav were there. The audience each received a copy of their book which I was excited about. I know this book has already made the crafty blog rounds but it is really beautiful and moving in person.
I am very excited that I am featured in the current Sept/Oct issue of Selvedge magazine! It's one of my favorite magazines and I'm honored to be featured. I picked one up at Purl in soho, if you are in New York.
After a hiatus from selling my wares, I've finally been able to put together an Etsy shop. I think this will be an easier shop format for me. I hope you will spread the word. I'm currently not selling wholesale so this is the way to shop from me.
For sale I've added dolls, doll clothes, elephants, giraffes, crochet hairclips, fabric flower hairclips and bracelets. Check it out!
I like to use vintage tatting thread for my crochet hairclips and other tiny crochet projects. I usually can buy whole lots of it on Ebay although it's gotten more expensive over the years. There are a few colors which I can't find, good greens (for leaves) and navy blues. So I decided to dye some myself, which seemed to work fine.
